Latitude Margaritaville Watersound is a 55+ community in Florida designed around the “no worries” lifestyle – bringing music, community, and comfort together. As part of the development, the design team required a custom outdoor restaurant heating system for the upscale Outlook Bar. HeatingSolutionsUSA was brought in to design, supply, and support the installation of an outdoor heating solution that blended seamlessly with the vibrant setting while ensuring year-round comfort for residents and guests.
Challenges & Site Conditions
The outdoor bar presented several challenges that required careful planning. High winds and seasonal flooding needed to be accounted for in the heating design. In addition, the busy ceiling space contained fans, ropes, TVs, and other fixtures, leaving limited mounting options. The solution not only had to overcome these technical constraints but also maintain the aesthetic appeal of the bar while providing controllable, effective radiant heat.
Our Outdoor Heating Solution
HeatingSolutionsUSA collaborated closely with the architects, MEP engineers, general contractors, and electricians to deliver a comprehensive heating design plan. The final system featured Solaira CosyXL H2 infrared heaters in marine-grade stainless steel, chosen for durability in Florida’s coastal environment. The heaters were paired with Solaira SMaRT series controls, providing precise, zone-based operation and reliable performance. Throughout the project, HeatingSolutionsUSA provided design input, technical support, and product supply to ensure seamless integration.

The completed installation transformed the Outlook Bar into a four-season destination within Latitude Margaritaville Watersound.
